Alaska Cruises Cruise Tours and Amazing Adventures with an Alaskan Cruise Group
Alaska Cruises are usually not the first thing you think about when you hear the word Alaska. I know I automatically think of "brrrrr cold." To my surprise, the high temperatures are usually between 60F-70F while the lows are around 50F during peak cruise season. While this is not the warmth you get in the Caribbean, Alaska has so much to offer.
Cruises to Alaska have soared in popularity in the recent years. Is it due to the nature, wildlife or the adventure into the unspoiled frontier? I think all of these combined give you an opportunity to see and experience things that you don't get to at home or anywhere else in the world.

An Alaska cruise is usually between 7-14 nights in length. They are broken up into 3 regions, the inside passage, north-bound glacier or south-bound glacier. These cruises will either start and end in Vancouver or Seattle or they will go one way between Vancouver and Anchorage. Although taking a cruise around Alaska is not that expensive, airfare is usually quite a bit more than going to Florida. The advantage of joining a cruise group going to Alaska is the price break of group airfare and the discount price of the cruise and/or cruise tour.
When can I cruise in Alaska?
The cruise season in Alaska starts in May and ends the beginning of October. The most popular months are June, July and August. The prices will tend to be slightly higher during these months and cruises often sell out months in advance. If you are particular on the type or position of your cabin – Book Early!
