A Carnival Cruise Group
provides something for
Everyone!

Carnival Cruise Lines supports groups in many different ways. A Carnival Cruise Group can be as small as 8 rooms or as large as the entire ship. No matter the size of you group, Carnival will treat you right. Depending on your sail date and ship, your group may receive amenity points to use to bring the cost of the cruise down, get on-board credit, or use it for a cocktail party or other free gifts. Not only does Carnival offer you use of amenity points, they allow your group to earn a free cruise.

Carnival has the industry beat in terms of price. They offer a Las Vegas style experience aboard every ship for as low as $70 per day. If your Carnival Cruise Group books a 3-5 day cruise three months in advance, or 6 day or longer cruise five months in advance, you are assured the lowest rate with Carnival's Early Saver Program.

-If, after booking, you find a lower Carnival advertised fare, Carnival will honor it, issuing the difference in the form of a non-refundable on-board credit. The lower fare must be: i) for the same ship, sailing, stateroom category and number of guests; ii) available for booking at the time you submit your request for the lower rate; and iii) a rate you are eligible to receive, if special restrictions apply. Price protection will be subject to the prevailing fees and/or fuel supplement if applicable.
-How cool is that? You can book your group in advance and not worry about having received the best price. If you find a better price, all you have to do is submit an adjustment and everyone gets on-board credit.

What should I pack? Here is a good list to start with.

The Fun Ship

Carnival has named itself "The Fun Ship." Your Carnival Cruise Group will have a great time on-board. What is the best age to travel with Carnival? The best thing about Carnival is that there is something for everyone at every age to participate in.
- Camp Carnival is geared for the little ones(2-11), providing them with a fun and supervised place to learn, explore and have fun. This provides parents with a little rest and relaxation as well. Camp Carnival is offered free of charge during normal hours. Circle "C" is for kids 12-14. This is a place where kids can hang out, meet other kids on-board, play games, and dance. Club O2 is for teens 15-17. This club gives them an area to hang out with other teens and play basketball, ping pong, take part in dance and pool parties. Don't forget Carnival's signature water slide is sure to keep the kids busy for hours.
- For adults seeking rest and relaxation, Carnival has introduced Serenity, an adults only spot on deck with comfortable lounge chairs, hammocks, and adult only whirlpools. Serenity is only for those 21+.

You booked your group cruise, now What?

Now that you have booked your group cruise, its time to plan everything else. A quick call to your travel agent or to Carnival will help you plan out your transfers, dining and shore excursions.

Transfers:
If everyone in your Carnival Cruise Group is arriving at the same time at the airport, you can arrange a Carnival Transfer to be picked up and taken to the ship together as a group. Another option is to contact a local bus company to pick your Carnival Cruise Group up from the airport and drop you off at your ship. If everyone is arriving at the airport at different times you have several different options.
-You can all wait at the airport lounge for everyone to arrive and then go over as a group.
-Everyone can get their own transportation via Taxi.
-Group members can individually purchase their transfer through Carnival's transfer program.
-Those that are really budget conscious can usually take public transportation in large cities from the airport to the pier. This option usually involves a little bit of walking and confidence in using public transportation.

Dining:
One of the things cruise ships are known for is their food. You will find an overabundance of food aboard Carnival Cruise Ships. Depending on the size of the ship, you can have 2-8 restaurants. Most groups eat breakfast and lunch on their own, and get together for dinner in the main dining room. You will set up an assigned time for your group to eat at assigned tables in the main dining room. Of course you do not have to eat in the main dining room. You can grab dinner from the buffet, eat in the specialty restaurant or have room service.

Shore Excursions:
When you are on-board most of your entertainment is included. When the ship lands in port, you can prearrange shore excursions for your group. Pre-paid Group Shore Excursions can be arranged for groups of eight cabins or more booked through the Groups department (minimum 16 guests pre-paid on any one given tour). Groups of 50 guests or more may customize Shore Excursions for their group. Just contact your travel agent or the Group Department to plan your excursions.
